Description

This Sweet and Spicy Garlic Steak Pasta recipe combines tender seared steak, a sticky garlic sauce, and perfectly cooked pasta for a bold, comforting dish. Ingredients

8 oz pasta

1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or New York strip)

4 cloves garlic, minced

3 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp chili flakes

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 green onions, sliced (optional for garnish)


Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt and pepper. Sear on both sides until browned. Remove and rest.

2. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water. Drain and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute.

4. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and chili flakes. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly.

5. Add pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat. Add reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.

6. Slice rested steak into bite-sized pieces. Add to pasta and toss everything gently.

7. Garnish with sliced green onions if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure the steak is well rested before slicing to keep it juicy.

Reserve pasta water—it helps create the perfect glossy sauce.

Adjust chili flakes based on your heat preference.
