Description
This Simple Comfort Pasta Dish is the ultimate cozy weeknight meal. Made with pasta, butter, garlic, and parmesan, it’s a quick, creamy, and satisfying recipe. Ideal for busy evenings or when you need something familiar and filling.
Ingredients
225g pasta
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 cup reserved pasta water
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 3/4 cup of the cooking water before draining.
2. In a large skillet or the same pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
3. Return the cooked pasta to the pan and pour in 1/2 cup of the reserved pasta water. Toss to combine.
4. Add the grated parmesan and stir until the sauce becomes creamy. Add more pasta water as needed to adjust consistency.
5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot with extra parmesan if desired.
Notes
Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
Don’t skip the pasta water—it helps the sauce cling to the noodles.
Great as-is, or add veggies or protein for a full meal.
