Description

A flavorful Honey Garlic Chicken Miracle that’s sweet, savory, and easy to make in under 30 minutes. Perfect for busy weeknights, this sticky garlic chicken recipe is made with simple pantry ingredients like soy sauce, honey, and fresh garlic. A must-try for chicken lovers looking for an easy dinner idea.

Ingredients

1 ½ pounds chicken thighs or breasts

⅓ cup honey

¼ cup soy sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional)

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Season the chicken with salt and black pepper. If using chicken breasts, slice them in half horizontally to thin them out.

2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and rice vinegar. Set the sauce aside.

3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and fully cooked, about 5–7 minutes per side.

4. Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, pour in the sauce mixture and let it bubble. Stir often.

5. If a thicker glaze is desired, mix cornstarch with a tablespoon of water and stir into the sauce. Let it thicken.

6. Return chicken to the pan and coat with the glaze. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until sticky and glossy.

7. Serve hot with rice, vegetables, or noodles. Spoon extra sauce over the top.

Notes

Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing to retain juices.

This dish tastes even better the next day after the sauce settles.

If using bone-in chicken, increase cooking time by 5–7 minutes.
