Description

This homemade guacamole recipe is made with fresh avocados, lime juice, cilantro, and jalapeño for the ultimate creamy dip. Perfect for parties, tacos, and healthy snacking. Easy, gluten-free, and dairy-free guacamole you’ll want to make every week.

Ingredients

2 ripe avocados

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

2 tablespoons finely diced red onion

1 tablespoon finely chopped jalapeño

2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

2 tablespoons diced tomatoes

1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Dice the red onion, jalapeño, and tomatoes. Chop the cilantro and juice the lime.

2. Cut avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.

3. Mash avocados with a fork or potato masher to your desired texture.

4. Stir in lime juice, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and salt.

5. Fold in the diced tomatoes last to avoid excess moisture.

6. Taste and adjust salt or lime if needed.

7. Serve immediately or store with plastic wrap directly on the surface to avoid browning.

Notes

Use ripe avocados that yield slightly when pressed.

For milder heat, remove the seeds from the jalapeño.

Leave out tomatoes if you prefer thicker guacamole.
