This Garlic Steak & Cheese-Filled Tortellini Skillet is a quick and comforting one-pan dinner featuring juicy steak, cheesy tortellini, and a rich garlic butter sauce. Perfect for weeknight meals or indulgent weekend cravings.
Ingredients
9 oz cheese-filled tortellini
12 oz sirloin steak
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
3. Sear steak for 3–4 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your preference. Remove and let rest.
4. Lower heat to medium. Add butter to the same skillet and melt. Stir in garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
5. Add cooked tortellini to the garlic butter and toss to coat.
6. Slice steak thinly and return to skillet. Toss everything together until warmed through.
7. Sprinkle with parmesan and parsley, then serve hot straight from the skillet.
Notes
Use a quick-cooking cut of steak for best texture and flavor.
Add a splash of broth if reheating leftovers to loosen the sauce.
Double the garlic for extra bold flavor.
