Description

Garlic Parmesan Shrimp Skewers are juicy grilled shrimp tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce and finished with savory parmesan cheese. This easy shrimp skewer recipe is perfect for quick dinners, summer grilling, seafood appetizers, and healthy high protein meals. Made with fresh shrimp, garlic, butter, lemon juice, and parmesan, these shrimp skewers deliver bold flavor with minimal effort.


Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined

3 tbsp butter melted

1 tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic minced

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

1. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels to help marinade stick and ensure proper grilling.

2. In a bowl mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper until combined.

3. Toss shrimp in the marinade and let sit for 15 to 20 minutes.

4. Thread shrimp onto skewers piercing both ends for stability.

5. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium high heat.

6. Grill shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes per side until opaque and lightly charred.

7. Remove from heat and immediately sprinkle parmesan cheese over shrimp.

8. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

Do not overcook shrimp or they will turn rubbery.

Use freshly grated parmesan for best melting and flavor.

If using wooden skewers soak them in water for 30 minutes before grilling.
