Description
Garlic Butter Chicken Bites & Spicy Cajun Alfredo Twisted Pasta is a bold and creamy pasta recipe packed with juicy garlic chicken and Cajun-spiced Alfredo sauce. A comforting weeknight meal idea with rotini or fusilli pasta and a southern twist.
Ingredients
1 lb chicken breast, cubed
3 garlic cloves, minced
4 tbsp salted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
10 oz twisted pasta (like rotini or fusilli)
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with Cajun seasoning, black pepper, and salt.
2. Heat 2 tbsp butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add remaining butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
4. Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, Cajun seasoning, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until slightly thickened.
5. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until smooth and melted.
6. Cook pasta until al dente, reserving 1/4 cup pasta water before draining.
7. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. Add pasta water if needed to loosen.
8. Return the chicken to the skillet, toss everything together until heated through.
9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
This recipe is best served immediately while the sauce is creamy.
For extra spice, increase Cajun seasoning or red pepper flakes.
Use rotini, fusilli, or cavatappi for best sauce grip and texture.
