Ingredients

2 pounds steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

¾ cup grated parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

1. Sear the steak bites in a hot skillet with 1 tablespoon butter until browned on all sides.

2. Transfer steak bites to the crockpot.

3. Add remaining butter, minced garlic, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

4. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours, or until steak is tender.

5. About 10 minutes before serving, stir in parmesan cheese until melted.

6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
