Ingredients
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
8 ounces linguine pasta
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear chicken until golden and fully cooked. Set aside to rest.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
5. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and thickened.
6. Add Italian seasoning, and adjust salt and pepper as needed.
7. Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well.
8. Immediately toss hot linguine with mozzarella until melted and creamy.
9. Slice rested chicken and place over the cheesy linguine.
10. Pour garlic parmesan sauce over the top and garnish with extra parmesan. Serve hot.
Notes
Use freshly grated parmesan for the smoothest sauce.
