Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup frozen corn
1 bag (32 ounces) frozen tater tots
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the beef. Cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, frozen corn, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fully combined and heated through.
4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
5. Spread the beef mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the beef mixture.
7. Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on top.
8. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes until tater tots are golden and the casserole is bubbly.
