Description

Cajun Garlic Butter Chicken with Creamy Parmesan Twisted Pasta is a rich, comforting one-skillet meal featuring juicy Cajun-seasoned chicken and velvety garlic-Parmesan pasta. Perfect for easy weeknight dinners or flavorful family meals.


Ingredients

1 lb chicken thighs

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

2 tbsp butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

8 oz twisted pasta (like rotini or fusilli)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

1. Pat chicken thighs dry and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.

5. Add heavy cream and stir to deglaze the pan.

6. Reduce heat and stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth. Add pasta water if needed to thin sauce.

7. Toss cooked pasta into the sauce until well coated.

8. Slice cooked chicken and place on top of the pasta.

9. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for maximum flavor.

Reserve pasta water before draining—it helps the sauce bind to the pasta.

You can substitute chicken breasts if preferred.
