Ingredients
1 cup frozen cranberries
1 ripe banana
1 orange or clementine, peeled
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
1. Peel the banana and orange or clementine. Rinse the cranberries if using fresh.
2. Add the cranberries, banana, orange, almond milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to a high-speed blender. Add ice cubes if desired.
3. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides if needed.
4. Taste and adjust sweetness with more maple syrup or thin with additional almond milk.
5. Pour into a glass or smoothie bowl. Top with cinnamon or extra cranberries if you like.
Notes
This smoothie is best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored for up to 24 hours in the fridge.
You can substitute almond milk with oat or cashew milk for a creamier version.
Frozen banana works great if you want a thicker texture without ice.
