Description

This Velveeta Chicken Penne in Creamy Mozzarella Garlic Cheese Sauce is a cheesy, comforting pasta dinner made with juicy chicken, rich garlic sauce, and melty mozzarella. Perfect for weeknights, it’s an easy and delicious family meal recipe loaded with flavor and gooey goodness.

Ingredients

2 cups penne pasta

1 lb chicken breast, diced

1 cup Velveeta cheese, cubed

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup heavy cream

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the penne pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

4. Stir in Velveeta cubes until fully melted, then add mozzarella cheese. Mix until sauce is smooth and creamy.

5. Return cooked penne and chicken to the skillet. Stir everything together and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.

6. Garnish with chopped parsley if using. Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes

Use freshly minced garlic for the best flavor.

Add a splash of cream when reheating leftovers to restore sauce texture.

Feel free to swap penne with rotini or rigatoni based on preference.
