Ingredients
2 large eggs
1 box strawberry cake mix (15.25 oz)
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon strawberry jam or puree (optional)
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until thick and smooth.
2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
3. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. It will be thick like cookie dough.
4. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
5. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before glazing.
6. For the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and optional strawberry jam until smooth.
7. Pour the glaze over the cooled brownies and spread evenly. Let it set.
