Ingredients
2 pounds chicken wings
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons hot sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
1. Pat the chicken wings completely dry using paper towels. Preheat your oven to 425°F or prep your air fryer to 400°F.
2. In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
3. Arrange wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet or in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
4. Bake for 40–45 minutes or air fry for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
5. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, honey, hot sauce, and soy sauce. Simmer for 4–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
6. Once wings are crispy, transfer to a bowl. Pour sauce over and toss to coat.
7. Serve hot with dipping sauces or your favorite sides.
Notes
Be sure wings are fully dry for ultimate crispiness.
You can adjust the hot sauce for more or less heat.
Freeze baked wings (before saucing) for meal prep and reheat later.
