Description

This Stuffed Mushroom Dip recipe combines savory cremini mushrooms, garlic, and three cheeses into a creamy, baked appetizer. Perfect for parties, potlucks, and cozy nights in. Try this easy and crowd-pleasing cheesy mushroom dip with crackers, crostini, or veggies.


Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

8 ounces cremini mushrooms, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 small shallot, minced

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped mushrooms, garlic, and shallot. Sauté for 8–10 minutes until moisture evaporates and mushrooms are browned. Season with salt and pepper.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and parmesan. Stir until smooth. Fold in the mushroom mixture and half of the mozzarella.

3. Transfer the mixture into an oven-safe baking dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella and an optional extra sprinkle of parmesan.

4. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.

5. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot with your choice of dippers.

Notes

This dip can be made a day ahead and baked before serving.

Reheat leftovers with a splash of cream or milk to maintain creaminess.

Customize with thyme, rosemary, or a pinch of red pepper flakes for variation.
