Description

This spicy cheesy garlic butter chicken with linguine in four-cheese sauce is a creamy, bold pasta dinner that combines tender chicken cutlets with rich garlic butter and a luscious four-cheese blend. Perfect for comfort food cravings, this recipe is easy to make, spicy, and incredibly satisfying for any pasta night.

Ingredients

1 lb chicken breasts

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

½ tsp red pepper flakes

12 oz linguine pasta

1 ½ cups heavy cream

1 ½ cups shredded four-cheese blend (Parmesan, mozzarella, provolone, Romano)

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Slice the chicken breasts into thin cutlets and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken on both sides until golden and cooked through. Set aside.

3. Bring a large pot of water to boil. Cook linguine according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

5. Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Gradually stir in the shredded four-cheese blend until fully melted and smooth.

6. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time to loosen it.

7. Return cooked linguine to the skillet and toss until evenly coated in the cheese sauce.

8. Top with the seared chicken slices and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

This dish is best served immediately while hot and creamy.

Reheat leftovers gently with a splash of milk or cream.

Use fresh parsley to brighten the richness of the cheese sauce.
