Ingredients

1 can refrigerated biscuit dough

4 large eggs

1/2 pound breakfast sausage

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon butter (optional)

Instructions

1. Brown your breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease and set aside.

2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and pepper. Cook gently in a nonstick skillet until just set and creamy.

3. Slightly flatten each biscuit round. Fill the center with scrambled egg, sausage, and cheese. Pinch the edges to seal.

4. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet. Optionally brush with melted butter.

5. Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes until golden brown.

6. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Let them cool fully before freezing.

Great for using leftover cooked bacon or veggies.

For extra golden tops, brush with egg wash or butter before baking.
