Description

Ritz Cracker Chicken Casserole is an easy, creamy, and comforting dish topped with buttery Ritz cracker crumbs. A perfect chicken casserole recipe for family dinners, potlucks, or cozy weeknights. Use shredded chicken and pantry staples for a meal everyone loves.

Ingredients

2 cups cooked shredded chicken

1 cup sour cream

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1 sleeve Ritz crackers

4 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

2. In a large bowl, mix chicken, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.

4. Crush Ritz crackers and combine with melted butter in a small bowl.

5. Sprinkle the buttery cracker mixture evenly over the chicken layer.

6. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until the top is golden brown and edges are bubbling.

7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for quicker prep.

Don’t crush the Ritz crackers too finely—keep some texture.

Add cooked veggies like peas or broccoli to bulk it up.
