Description
These No-Bake Salted Caramel Pretzel Bites are the ultimate sweet and salty treat. Perfect for quick desserts, edible gifts, and party trays, this no-bake recipe features mini pretzels, peanut butter, caramel, and chocolate. Make-ahead, freezer-friendly, and totally irresistible.
Ingredients
48 mini pretzels
1 cup peanut butter
20 soft caramels
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon sea salt flakes (optional)
Instructions
1. Mix the peanut butter (optionally with powdered sugar for firmness) and scoop small dollops onto half of the pretzels. Top with another pretzel to make sandwiches and freeze for 10 minutes.
2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the caramels and heavy cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Let cool slightly.
3. Spoon a layer of the melted caramel onto each sandwich and place back in the freezer for another 10 minutes.
4. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in 30-second microwave bursts until smooth.
5. Dip each pretzel bite halfway into the chocolate, place on parchment paper, and sprinkle with sea salt flakes if using.
6. Let set at room temperature or refrigerate to harden quickly.
7. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for up to a month.
Notes
Use mini pretzels in twist or square shapes for best sandwiching.
Chill the bites between layers for clean handling and structure.
Sea salt flakes enhance the flavor and texture but are optional.
