Ingredients
4 salmon fillets
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 4 teaspoon salt
1 4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease a baking dish.
2. In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and olive oil until smooth.
3. Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them skin-side down on the baking sheet. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
4. Spoon the glaze over the salmon evenly, coating each fillet generously.
5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
6. Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, and spoon extra glaze from the pan over the top before serving.
Notes
Make sure the salmon fillets are similar in size so they cook evenly.
For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the glaze for 30 minutes before baking.
Avoid overbaking—salmon continues to cook after it’s out of the oven.
