Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
3 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups pecan halves or chopped pecans
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
2. In a bowl, combine melted butter, flour, and salt until a dough forms.
3. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the pan and bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until lightly golden.
4. While the crust bakes, whisk together eggs, brown sugar, granulated sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, and salt.
5. Stir in pecans until well-coated in the mixture.
6. Pour the pecan mixture evenly over the hot crust.
7. Return the pan to the oven and bake for another 25 to 30 minutes, until the center is set.
