Description

A creamy and flavorful Juicy Marry Me Shrimp Pasta recipe packed with tender shrimp, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and a rich parmesan cream sauce. Perfect for romantic dinners or easy weeknight meals. This shrimp pasta is ready in under 30 minutes and brings bold, irresistible flavor.

Ingredients

8 oz pasta

1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp red pepper flakes

1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/4 cup of pasta water.

2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, then sauté until pink and opaque, about 2 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add sun-dried tomatoes and stir.

4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream, parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Let the sauce simmer until slightly thickened, about 3 to 4 minutes.

5. Add the cooked pasta and shrimp to the sauce. Toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.

6. Garnish with chopped fresh basil and serve immediately.

Notes

Juicy Marry Me Shrimp Pasta is best served fresh.

Use frozen shrimp if needed, just thaw them well.

For extra richness, add a splash of white wine when sautéing garlic.
