Ingredients
2 shots espresso
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
Instructions
1. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, water, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Bring to a simmer and stir until sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let sit.
2. Brew your espresso using your preferred method.
3. In a heatproof jar or shaker, combine the hot espresso with 2–3 tablespoons of brown sugar syrup. Shake or stir well.
4. Heat milk on the stovetop or with a steam wand until hot but not boiling. Froth if desired.
5. Pour espresso mixture into a mug and top with warm milk. Sprinkle extra cinnamon on top if desired. Enjoy immediately.
Notes

Leftover syrup can be refrigerated for up to one week.
