Ingredients

1 lb boneless chicken thighs

1 cup cornstarch

1/2 cup soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

1/3 cup honey

2 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tsp sesame oil

1 tbsp sesame seeds

2 green onions, sliced

1/2 cup vegetable oil (for frying)


Instructions

1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.

2. Toss chicken pieces in a bowl with cornstarch until coated evenly.

3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

4. Fry the chicken in batches, 4–5 minutes per batch, until golden and crispy. Set aside on paper towels.

5. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.

6. Simmer sauce over medium heat for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.

7. Add the fried chicken to the sauce and toss to coat well.

8. Simmer for an additional minute to let the glaze cling.

9. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.

10. Serve hot over rice, noodles, or in lettuce wraps.

This dish is best served immediately for maximum crispiness.

Fry in batches to prevent overcrowding and sogginess.
