Ingredients
1 pound flank steak
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
8 ounces fresh mozzarella
1 cup cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
2 tablespoons balsamic glaze (for drizzling)
Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, honey, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
2. Place the steak in a zip-top bag and pour in the marinade. Refrigerate for 1 to 8 hours.
3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove steak from marinade and let excess drip off.
4. Grill steak for 4–6 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
5. Slice steak thinly against the grain.
6. Arrange steak slices on a platter. Top with mozzarella, tomatoes, and torn basil.
7. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the top before serving.
