Description
This golden garlic butter chicken with creamy parmesan linguine is a rich, flavorful one-skillet dinner that combines juicy seared chicken thighs and a velvety garlic parmesan pasta. Perfect for weeknight comfort meals, it’s a fast, easy recipe packed with buttery, cheesy, and garlicky goodness.
Ingredients
4 chicken thighs
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
¾ cup grated parmesan cheese
8 ounces linguine
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Pat chicken thighs dry and season with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken thighs for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Meanwhile, cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain.
5. Add heavy cream to the skillet with garlic butter, stir, and let it heat through. Add parmesan and stir until melted and smooth.
6. Adjust sauce thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
7. Toss linguine in the sauce until coated. Return chicken to skillet and warm through.
8. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra parmesan if desired.
Notes
This dish reheats beautifully with a splash of cream or milk.
For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
Boneless chicken thighs are preferred, but thin-sliced breasts work too.
