Description
Garlic Butter Chicken with Velvety Parmesan Linguine is the ultimate comfort food made elegant. This easy chicken dinner combines juicy pan-seared chicken in garlic butter with creamy parmesan linguine. A quick, indulgent meal perfect for weeknights or special occasions.
Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
2 tablespoons butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup heavy cream
8 oz linguine pasta
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same pan, reduce heat and melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Boil salted water and cook linguine until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.
5. Stir heavy cream into the garlic butter sauce. Slowly add parmesan, stirring until smooth. Add pasta water to loosen sauce if needed.
6. Return chicken to the pan to warm. Toss in linguine and coat evenly with sauce.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Make sure the chicken is fully cooked but not dry.
Always reserve pasta water to adjust sauce thickness.
Freshly grated parmesan melts more smoothly and tastes better.
