Description

These Fudgy Brownie Cheesecake Bars are the ultimate dessert mashup! Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter

1 1/4 cups granulated sugar

3 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3/4 cup cocoa powder

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup chocolate chips

16 ounces cream cheese

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/4 cup sour cream


Instructions

1. In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in sugar. Whisk until glossy and smooth.

2. Remove from heat and beat in eggs and vanilla extract.

3. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Stir until just combined.

4. Fold in chocolate chips, then spread batter into a lined 9×9-inch pan.

5. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.

6. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and sour cream. Mix until creamy.

7. Pour cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer and swirl slightly.

8. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 40–45 minutes until the center is set.

9. Cool completely, then refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight.

10. Slice into bars and serve chilled.

Notes

These bars cut best when chilled overnight.

You can swirl the layers or keep them cleanly separated for a bold look.

Store leftovers in the fridge up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
