Description
These crispy Fried Nutella Dumplings are the ultimate dessert bite — golden, crunchy wonton wrappers filled with warm, gooey Nutella. This easy deep-fried dessert is perfect for parties, holidays, or when you’re craving a quick indulgent treat. Try it with ice cream, berries, or powdered sugar for a heavenly finish.
Ingredients
15 wonton wrappers
15 teaspoons Nutella
small bowl water
2 cups vegetable oil
2 tablespoons powdered sugar (optional)
Instructions
1. Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface and keep a small bowl of water nearby. Add about a teaspoon of Nutella in the center of each wrapper.
2. Dip your finger into the water and moisten the edges of the wrapper. Fold it into a triangle or a little pouch, pressing the edges tightly to seal. Make sure no filling leaks out.
3. In a deep pan, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). To test, drop a tiny piece of wrapper in — it should sizzle immediately.
4. Carefully place a few dumplings at a time into the oil. Don’t overcrowd. Fry for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown.
5. Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
6. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm. Add ice cream or fresh berries for extra flair.
Notes
These are best served hot and fresh for the perfect crispy outside and melty center.
Make sure wrappers are tightly sealed so the Nutella doesn’t leak into the oil.
Try different fillings like Biscoff spread, peanut butter, or raspberry jam for a twist.
