Description

Ingredients

3 large egg whites

1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 (3 oz) package sweetened Jello powder (any flavor)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 200°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a clean bowl, beat egg whites until foamy using a mixer.

3. Add cream of tartar and beat until soft peaks form.

4. Gradually add granulated sugar while beating until stiff, glossy peaks form.

5. Fold in Jello powder gently until the mixture is evenly colored.

6. Spoon or pipe meringue onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between.

7. Bake for 1 hour, then turn off oven and leave cookies inside for another hour to cool and dry.

8. Remove and store in an airtight container once completely cool.

Notes

These cookies can be customized with any Jello flavor.

For extra texture, you can sprinkle sanding sugar or colored sprinkles on top before baking.
