Description

Dump & Bake Creamy Rice & Chicken is a cozy, easy one-dish dinner recipe packed with tender chicken, fluffy white rice, and creamy, savory flavor. A comforting casserole perfect for family meals and weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts

1 cup white long-grain rice (uncooked)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup sour cream

2 cups chicken broth

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh parsley (optional, chopped)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with olive oil.

2. In the baking dish, mix rice, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.

3. Place chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture and sprinkle with paprika.

4. Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 45 minutes.

5. Uncover and continue baking for 15 to 20 minutes until the rice is tender and chicken is fully cooked.

6. Remove from the oven and let the dish rest for 5 minutes.

7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 4 days.
