Ingredients
1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients to prepare it)
2 boxes instant chocolate pudding mix (3.9 oz each)
3 cups cold milk
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
16 oz whipped topping, divided
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips or chocolate shavings (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions and bake in a 9×13-inch pan. Let it cool completely.
2. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and half of the whipped topping. Mix until well combined and spread over the cooled brownie.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Let it sit for 2–3 minutes.
4. Spread pudding over the cream cheese layer.
5. Top with the remaining whipped topping and smooth it out evenly.
6. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips or chocolate shavings over the top if using.
7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
8. Slice and serve chilled. Clean knife between cuts for sharp layers.
