Ingredients
3 chicken breasts
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup diced onion
1 cup sliced bell peppers (red and green)
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
4 ounces cream cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
12 ounces pasta (penne or rotini), cooked
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Place chicken breasts in the crock pot and season with Cajun seasoning.
2. Add minced garlic, diced onion, and bell peppers on top of the chicken.
3. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring gently to combine.
4. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, until chicken is tender and cooked through.
5. Shred the chicken in the crock pot using two forks.
