Description
These Crispy Ground Turkey Rice Paper Dumplings are a crunchy, juicy snack or appetizer made with savory seasoned turkey wrapped in golden rice paper. Perfect for easy dinners, healthy meal prep, or party finger food, this recipe is naturally gluten-free and packed with flavor.
Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
2 green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
12 rice paper wrappers
2 tablespoons cooking oil
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well mixed.
2. Fill a shallow dish with warm water. Dip one rice paper wrapper for about 10 seconds until slightly soft.
3. Lay the rice paper flat on a clean surface. Place 1 to 2 tablespoons of filling in the center.
4. Fold the sides in, then roll tightly like a burrito. Optionally, double wrap with a second sheet for extra crispiness.
5. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat with cooking oil.
6. Place dumplings seam-side down and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side, until golden and crisp.
7. Remove from pan and serve hot with dipping sauce of choice.
Notes
These dumplings are best enjoyed fresh, but they reheat well in a skillet or air fryer.
Avoid overstuffing to keep the wrappers intact while frying.
Double wrapping adds crispiness and helps seal in the filling.
