Ingredients
12 oz bowtie pasta
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
0.5 tsp salt
0.5 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Cook the bowtie pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat.
3. Add olive oil and garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add Parmesan and Italian seasoning. Cook until slightly thickened.
5. Return the cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat in the creamy sauce. Add pasta water a bit at a time if needed.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for a smoother sauce.
Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
