Ingredients
2 lobster tails (5 to 6 oz each)
3 tablespoons butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Use kitchen shears to cut down the back of the lobster shells and gently lift the meat without detaching it completely.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the lobster tails, meat-side down, and sear for 2 to 3 minutes until golden. Flip and cook for another minute.
3. Lower the heat and add the minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Let it simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
5. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
6. Spoon the sauce over the lobster tails and cook another 2 to 3 minutes while basting.
7. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately with your favorite sides.
Notes
Let the lobster tails fully thaw before cooking if using frozen.
Use cold-water lobster tails for the sweetest, most tender flavor.
Be careful not to overcook the lobster; it should be opaque and slightly firm.
