Description

This creamy garlic butter beef penne with sausage and spinach is a rich and satisfying dinner recipe perfect for weeknights. With ground beef, Italian sausage, and baby spinach in a velvety parmesan cream sauce, it’s an easy yet indulgent pasta dish your whole family will love. Try this comfort food classic and enjoy leftovers just as much!

Ingredients

450g penne pasta

250g ground beef

200g Italian sausage

100g fresh spinach

4 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons butter

1 ½ cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook penne pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and Italian sausage until fully browned. Break into crumbles and drain excess fat.

3. Add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, stir in minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

4. Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix until the sauce thickens slightly.

5. Add spinach and let it wilt into the sauce.

6. Combine cooked pasta and meat into the skillet. Toss to coat everything in the creamy garlic butter sauce.

7. Taste, adjust seasoning if needed, and serve hot with extra Parmesan on top.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and melting.

Don’t skip wilting the spinach—it balances the dish beautifully.

Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy twist.
