Ingredients
1 lb chicken breast
9 oz cheese tortellini
8 oz Velveeta cheese
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional garnish)
Instructions
1. Slice chicken breast into bite-sized pieces. Season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
2. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Sauté chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt another tablespoon of butter. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and reduce heat to low. Stir in Velveeta cheese until fully melted and smooth.
5. While the sauce is cooking, boil the tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
6. Add the cooked chicken and tortellini to the cheese sauce. Stir gently to coat. Let everything simmer for a few minutes.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
