Description

Creamy Cajun Chicken Bowtie Pasta with Garlic Cheese Sauce is a flavorful, comforting pasta dish made with juicy Cajun-spiced chicken, velvety garlic cheese sauce, and bowtie pasta. This easy weeknight dinner is rich, cheesy, and ready to impress.

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts

8 oz bowtie pasta

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 tbsp olive oil

3 garlic cloves, minced

4 oz cream cheese

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tbsp butter

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook bowtie pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.

2. Cut chicken breasts into strips and coat with Cajun seasoning. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Lower the heat and stir in the cream cheese until smooth. Slowly whisk in heavy cream. Once it thickens, add Parmesan and mozzarella. Stir until fully melted into a creamy sauce.

5. Return chicken to the skillet along with the drained pasta. Toss to coat everything evenly in the sauce. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed.

6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm with extra Parmesan or fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

This recipe feeds 4–5 people.

Add spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers for extra texture and flavor.

Reheat leftovers with a splash of cream or milk to revive the sauce.
