These Cranberry Brie Bites are the perfect holiday appetizer, combining creamy brie, sweet-tart cranberry sauce, and flaky puff pastry into bite-sized indulgent treats. Ideal for Christmas, Thanksgiving, or wine nights, this easy appetizer is always a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
24 squares puff pastry
8 ounces brie cheese
1 cup cranberry sauce
1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (optional)
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a mini muffin tin.
2. Let puff pastry thaw until pliable and cut into 24 squares.
3. Press one pastry square into each muffin tin well.
4. Add a small cube of brie to each, followed by a spoonful of cranberry sauce.
5. Sprinkle pecans and thyme on top if using.
6. Brush pastry corners with egg wash.
7. Bake for 12–14 minutes or until golden and puffed.
8. Let cool slightly, then serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
These bites are best enjoyed warm.
You can make them ahead and bake just before serving.
Try using whole berry cranberry sauce for extra texture.
