Ingredients
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup cold butter, cubed
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
¾ cup whole milk
6 ounces lump crab meat
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. Cut in cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
4. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese.
5. Add milk gradually and stir just until the dough comes together. Do not overmix.
6. In a separate bowl, combine crab meat, cream cheese, green onions, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
7. Turn dough onto a floured surface and gently roll out to about ½ inch thickness.
