Ingredients
200g dark chocolate bar
120ml heavy cream
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
For coating: cocoa powder, powdered sugar, or melted chocolate
Instructions
1. Chop the chocolate into fine pieces and place in a heatproof bowl.
2. Heat the cream in a small saucepan until just simmering.
3. Pour hot cream over chocolate and let sit for 1 minute.
4. Stir gently until chocolate is melted and smooth.
5. Add butter, vanilla, and salt. Stir until fully incorporated.
6. Cover and refrigerate the ganache for 1 to 2 hours.
7. Scoop small portions and roll into balls with your hands.
8. Roll each truffle in cocoa powder, powdered sugar, or dip in melted chocolate.
