Description

This Cheesy Garlic Twisted Pasta with Cajun Ground Beef and Alfredo Velveeta is the ultimate comfort food with a Southern twist. Loaded with creamy Velveeta Alfredo, savory garlic, and spicy Cajun ground beef, it’s a rich and flavorful pasta recipe that’s perfect for weeknight dinners or cozy gatherings. A bold and cheesy meal that comes together in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

16 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)

1 lb ground beef

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

4 cloves garlic, minced

8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed

1 cup heavy cream

2 tbsp butter

1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain the fat.

3. Add Cajun seasoning and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir and cook for 2 more minutes to infuse the flavor.

4. Reduce heat to low, add butter, and melt into the beef mixture. Pour in heavy cream and add Velveeta cubes. Stir until melted and smooth.

5. Add the cooked pasta into the skillet and toss until fully coated in the sauce.

6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and let everything simmer for 2–3 minutes.

7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot with extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

This dish tastes best fresh, but reheats well with a splash of cream.

Feel free to swap the beef for chicken or plant-based protein for variety.

For extra heat, add crushed red pepper flakes or a drizzle of hot sauce.
