Ingredients
1 lb Ribeye or Sirloin Steak
8 oz Pasta (Fettuccine or Penne)
2 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
1 cup Heavy Cream
3 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
1 cup Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated
2 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
2 tbsp Parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
1. Season steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high and sear steak 3–4 minutes per side.
3. Let steak rest, then slice thinly.
4. Cook pasta according to package instructions; reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
5. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
6. Add heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
7. Stir in grated parmesan until sauce is smooth and creamy.
8. Toss cooked pasta into the sauce, adding pasta water as needed to loosen.
9. Add sliced steak to pasta and toss gently to combine.
10. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
Notes
This recipe is best served fresh, especially the steak.
You can use penne, fettuccine, or any pasta that holds sauce well.
