Description

This Cheesy Cajun Garlic Butter Steak with Creamy Rigatoni recipe combines tender Cajun-seasoned steak, rich garlic butter, and velvety rigatoni coated in a cheesy cream sauce. Perfect for a hearty family dinner or an indulgent date night, this dish brings together bold Cajun spice, creamy pasta comfort, and steakhouse flair.

Ingredients

2 ribeye or sirloin steaks

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

4 tablespoons butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

12 ounces rigatoni pasta

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Pat the steaks dry and season generously with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steaks for 3–4 minutes per side until a crust forms. Remove and rest.

3. Lower the skillet heat, melt butter, and stir in garlic. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour garlic butter over the resting steaks.

4. Boil rigatoni in salted water until al dente, reserving 1 cup pasta water. Drain.

5. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat. Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella until melted and smooth, loosening with pasta water if needed.

6. Slice the steak against the grain.

7. Toss pasta with creamy sauce, plate, and top with steak slices.

8. Drizzle remaining garlic butter over the steak and pasta before serving.

Notes

For best results, use steaks at least 1 inch thick.

Let steaks rest before slicing to keep them juicy.

Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for extra heat.
