Description
This Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars recipe combines creamy cheesecake, tender spiced apples, buttery graham crust, and streusel topping, all finished with rich caramel drizzle. Ingredients
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for apples)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
1/4 cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 8–10 minutes and let cool.
3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth. Pour over cooled crust.
4. Toss sliced apples with cinnamon and sugar. Layer them evenly over the cheesecake filling.
5. In another bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and cubed butter. Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.
6. Bake for 35–40 minutes until the top is golden and the center is set.
7. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
8. Before serving, drizzle with caramel sauce. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
Let the bars chill completely before slicing for clean edges.
Use Granny Smith apples for a nice tart balance to the sweet layers.
Add a pinch of salt to the streusel for depth of flavor.
