Ingredients
1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin)
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
3 garlic cloves, minced
8 oz shell pasta
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces, pat dry, and toss with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the steak bites in batches until browned and cooked to your liking. Set aside.
3. Boil shell pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
5. Add heavy cream and stir until warmed. Stir in cheddar, Parmesan, and reserved pasta water until a smooth sauce forms.
6. Toss in the cooked pasta and combine well.
7. Add steak bites back to the skillet and stir everything gently until evenly coated and heated through.
8. Serve hot with extra Parmesan or herbs if desired.
Notes
This dish is best served right away for the creamiest texture.
Use a well-marbled steak like ribeye for the most flavor and tenderness.
Reheat with a splash of cream or milk to revive the sauce.
