Ingredients
4 salmon fillets
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 tablespoons butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with Cajun seasoning and a light sprinkle of salt.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon skin-side down and sear for 4 to 5 minutes until crispy.
3. Flip the salmon and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
4. Reduce the heat. Add butter to the same pan and let it melt. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
5. Add honey and lemon juice to the pan. Let it simmer for 1 minute to thicken slightly.
6. Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the sauce over each fillet.
7. Let the salmon warm in the sauce for another minute before serving hot.
Notes
Use fresh or thawed salmon fillets that are similar in size for even cooking.
Adjust the level of Cajun spice based on your heat preference.
