Description

Cajun Garlic Chicken Tortellini in Three-Cheese Cream is a bold and creamy pasta dish featuring juicy Cajun-spiced chicken, soft cheese tortellini, and a luscious blend of Parmesan, mozzarella, and cream cheese. This quick and comforting recipe is perfect for weeknight dinners and packed with Southern flavor and Italian-inspired indulgence.

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts

2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 garlic cloves, minced

9 ounces refrigerated cheese tortellini

4 ounces cream cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3/4 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon butter

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Season the diced chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning.

2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken until cooked through and slightly browned. Remove and set aside.

3. Lower the heat and add butter to the skillet. Sauté the minced garlic until just fragrant.

4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.

5. Add the cream cheese and stir until fully melted and smooth.

6. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan until the sauce thickens.

7. Add tortellini directly into the sauce and cook for several minutes until tender.

8. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and mix everything well.

9. Simmer for 1 minute. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Use refrigerated tortellini for best texture and fast cooking.

Don’t let the garlic brown—just a light sauté is enough.

Reheat leftovers with a splash of cream or milk to revive the sauce.
